As a country, we champion equality, liberty, and justice for all—yet slavery still exists in America. Modern-day slavery (human trafficking) is a global epidemic that is prevalent in all 50 states. One of its most insidious, demoralizing, and destructive forms is the sex-trade. Victims of this despicable practice are forced to sell sex and often live in subhuman conditions. Survivors of sex trafficking and other forms of exploitation face an uphill battle on their road to recovery. What they have miraculously endured impacts virtually every aspect of their lives. Our approach is simple:

Soaring Dove Academy will be a rent-free, live-in therapeutic community of healing and recovery—the first of its kind in Utah. This all-inclusive aftercare facility will have the ambiance of a warm, welcoming, and loving home. It will be a safe haven designed to help the women we will be serving (“clients”) recover and transition to a new life and become independent. Those who have endured the worst in life deserve an opportunity to replace despair, sorrow, and detachment with hope, joy, and purpose!
